8 Ways to Use Pantone’s Color of the Year

Last week, Pantone announced emerald green as the color of 2013. Fashion websites promptly created slideshows (and more slideshows) of appropriate emerald wear for the new year. Here is my promotional response. All I had to do was go to www.promomarketing.com and type “emerald” into the search field to find green-hued products for all of your promotional needs.

1. For business gifts and awards:

Nothing says, “You deserve a trip to The Emerald City” quite like the Emerald Square Optic Crystal from First Source Awards.
2. For drinkware programs:
Competitors will be green with envy when they see the 14 oz. Emerald Green/Black Trim Plastic Tumbler from Moderne Glass Co. imprinted with your client’s logo.
3. For concessions or events:

The Colorware Emerald Green 2-ply Beverage Napkin from Tranter Graphics is best served with green foods like green cupcakes, green frosting and green M&Ms.
4. For rugged and outdoor:

Outdoorsmen love the color green. What other reason do they have for spending all day outdoors? Give them The Classic Translucent Emerald Victorinox Pocket Knife from Hard Hat Knives & Flashlights for cutting green things with a green thing.
5. For retail and storefront:
Holding jewelry in a jewel-toned bag is the dream of many women. Here’s how to make their dreams come true: The Emerald Tote from Bag Makers.

6. For high school and college class rings:

Class rings are meant to be worn for a long time. Some loyal graduates even choose to wear their rings instead of wedding bands. Thats’ why there is the Ladies’ 10k Gold Emerald and Diamond Ring from Black Forest.
7. For awareness and other T-shirts programs:

Almost any promotion can use an imprinted T-shirt, so why not make it the color of the year and use Women’s Triblend Deep V-neck in Emerald Heather from Heritage Sportswear Inc.?
8. For trade shows and corporate events:

The 4×1-5/8″ Emerald Sponsor Stack-A-Ribbon from Meetings Direct literally says the word “emerald.” Will these be at 2013’s trade shows? I hope so.
